2008 | December | Rumour control suggests that version TADDM 7.2.2 (GA Q1 2009) can take advantage of the inherent security controls that exist within ITM 6.2.1. For some organisations where security restrictions limit the capability of a TADDM deployment this can be a significant advantage. Prior to this version, TADDM stores the credentials that it needs, sometimes highly powerful userids, in the database that it manages. This data is encrypted and protected against general TADM user access, but controversial to most security experts. This improvement will increase the TADDM user base.

2008 | November | The UK TUG Committee are investigating the possible use of Web Meetings to help TUG members get the support and information they need, whilst avoiding travel
restrcitions imposed by their organisations. Attendance at these web meetings is available to TUG members only and will not incur connection charges.
